Farnborough, United Kingdom, July 22, 2024 – De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) announced today the Tanzania Government Flight Agency (TGFA) has signed a purchase agreement for a DHC OEM Certified Refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft.
“The addition of a De Havilland Canada OEM Certified Refurbished Aircraft to the TGFA fleet provides continuity to the TGFA’s growing national airline program.” said Ryan DeBrusk, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for De Havilland Canada. “We are proud that we will see another Dash 8 aircraft in Tanzania, where the aircraft is ideally suited to support the development of domestic air travel.”
De Havilland Canada’s OEM Certified Refurbishment Program was officially announced at the Farnborough International Airshow earlier today and the purchase of this Dash 8-400 aircraft is an additional endorsement of the aircraft type and of DHC’s commitment to “keep the fleet flying”. As this program ramps up, DHC facilities across Canada will be providing engineering, parts and expertise to meet the growing demand for the Dash 8 aircraft.
